the USA after a nuclear/biological war. Results of the war are that mutants have evolved, and the human race is in danger of extinction due to infertility. Hell is given the task of helping in the rescue of a group of fertile women from the harem of the mutant leader (resembling a frog). Hell cannot escape since he has a bomb attached to his private parts which will detonate if he strays more than a few hundred yards from his guard.

I’ve decided to start blogging again. Not to be heard but to
speak. The idea is to create one free-form blog and use it well… Pieces of it
for my more public blogs. The free-form blog is anonymous. That’s why feel free.
I will start by reading excerpts from my personal journal. The only rule being…
Nothing about work. I will write about work but that is just a squeeze the
pimple. Get the pus out. So no blogging about work. Hard and fast rule. I will
take the best parts of my Journal any pictures” I have collected through the
week and trickle them down into my public blogs.
For this first week I want to reach a little further back… I
guess not really that far back… Last weekend. It was a big time Juicy Jake was
in town and Oldest Son I had an adventure together. It was a great weekend. Not
a perfect weekend. A great weekend.

A vacation day. And right at the perfect time this little
book is being started a little early. The composition I’m working in is out on
the porch. Did I mention that Juicy Jake is here? Came in yesterday at 930 in
the morning. Pretty Woman is taken off to be with him, he leaves Monday or
Tuesday. I came home at lunch to seem, went back to work with the Slutsky’s
original deluxe add jalapenos. Thanks Youngest Son. Came home after work.
Stopped by Kroger, needed supplies for Tex-Mex night. Beer, stuff, and grab
some pork ribs at $.99 a pound. Grab to their cheap. Drank PDR in the truck.
Waited for them on the porch because they were out getting haircuts.
Oldest Son had gotten his hair cut the day before. Youngest Son got his hair cut today me? Never. Self the excavation point drank more PDR and smoked Marlboro red 72’s out of my donkey dispenser.
Didn’t smoked last time Juicy Jake was here, I’d just been sick. First time in a long time. Hope it’s enjoyed and put away. I said, Oldest Son flushed the radiator in the trunk. He needs it to go pick up his project car. We leave early early early on Saturday. He is going to get two new tires on it today. I’m having to use my stash money, my last $300.

Took me a minute to find my stash. I’d had to move it
because I’d let Youngest Son take some of it and a stash is in a stash if
someone else knows about it. Turns out I had it in an old wallet in the tower.
I left a 20. Never empty the stash! Let’s turn the fan so blows right on me. I’m
starting to perspire. Mucho better. Too lazy to get the can composition off of
the porch. I’ll need it there today anyway. I found another to take and give to
Juicy Jake. One retired from the lab. Unique. Unique is a nice word for trash.
Second cup of 8:11 AM
hey Mike, I can wear my old bra, it fits me around the
middle!
Pretty Woman is lost 21 pounds, from 214 to 193. That’s good
news.

I’m hiding out in the life lab to keep from disturbing
everybody. Juicy Jake is asleep in a chair. Holly hangs out with him. Pretty
Woman and Pinto are in our bed. Pretty Woman wearing last night’s clothes. Youngest
Son stayed up after work playing videos. Oldest Son was actually asleep when we
came home around 1130… Hope it’s not an omen… The coffee mug with. I kept
pouring coffee it, and leeking out. The lab is just not operational. The main computer puked. One replace it . two get anything worthwhile back off. Put that on
the to do list. On the doing list watching hell comes to Frogtown with Randy
Roddy piper in yet another be movie. How did I get here? Had it went something
like this… Watching the first season of voice should bottom of the sea, I
remember the color version but never saw the early black and white stuff it is
mainly a thinly veiled version of the Cold War, but the last episode was all
sci-fi Shangri-La hidden in the Antarctic. Dinosaurs. Natives. Human sacrifice.
Over the top but the native girl caught my eye and I caught her name.
Vitina Marcus (born March 1, 1937 in New York City, New York) is an American actress of Sicilian and Hungarian descent. Her parents were Rose and Frank Marcus, and her Sicilian grandmother was named Vitina.
Turns out she played squalls on Gunsmoke and the like. She was dark skinned you see. Turns out, she sells real estate in Las Vegas now.
Has a daughter by Rory Calhoun.
One of the made for the movies leading men of the 50s. His last movie, close to it, was Frogtown. It led me to a list of sci-fi I pretty much agree with so I followed a promising trail and found Frogtown on who I’m watching it off the tablet down here in the life lab. Long day yesterday. Oldest Son wanted to get on the road by 7:30 AM, to get the trailer at U-Haul, get to Oklahoma City, and get the AE 71 Corolla, and get home. Lots of getting. I had to wake Oldest Son up. His phone died during the night. We got on the road finally put some miles down. Didn’t turn the radio on until we almost got home. We talked. And talked. And when we ran out of things to talk about, we talk about the next interesting car that passed us. They all passed us. I’m a slow and go guy, the trailer is just an excuse.
Gas in the tank and shared McDonald’s breakfast crap. Almost good enough without Oldest Son put it. Hadn’t Juicy Jake did spot things. We called mom and dad when we get exit 51, the home of the fried pies. They love them so much. After a few wrong turns, we got there. When the guy said the battery had just been stolen, I suspected a fast one. The car runs, no way I’m going for not seeing it run. We jump it off with no battery and a first for me. Loads right up. Strap it down and head back.
No way we’re making the 5 o’clock drive. Stopped once for soda. Get back. Jump it appeared unloaded, he drives around back and parked. It’s going to be a challenging project. He doesn’t want it running, he wants to swap out his motor and transmission to go standard.
Youngest Son was busy. I suggested he put his talents to use detailing Oldest Son’s camery. Oldest Son has been helping him work on his Mustang. He did an outstanding job. Found this time I thought I’d left at Dr. Jekyll’s the first time we went.
I talked them out of a replacement Stein when we were there Friday night. That’s two for us now hadn’t Juicy Jake R buzzed by not. Not even in the mood. Too much Friday night. I’m designated driver then. A very hungry designated driver. We ended up at the college pizza place, old-school pizza, scarfed a solid, large, and some pizza. Full up, we go to J Gilliam’s. A weird crowd there. Just a few college kids mostly locals, not many of those, and I’m sure it’s because I’m sober but age Pretty Woman is loud talking about everyone around us. I don’t want any trouble. And Pretty Woman is in a weird mood. Nothing I say sensed right with her I’m afraid I’m just as bad when I drink. I’m sure I am. Sad. We last until a little after 11 o’clock. P.W. and I go to bed. After Youngest Son showed me the job he did on the Corolla. Okay the log is now up-to-date. Time for more coffee.

Coffee time
we have a good thing. Just enough fun to keep things
entertaining. Today has structure. Breakfast tacos. Tennis. Hamburgers and Greg
Schroeder at the Magnolia in Fort Worth tonight and then home to catch the last
of the Spurs game. First playoff game versus the Clippers. Definitely some
sketchy on the back porch. Maybe a game of darts… Or two. Why does my right arm
hard? I don’t remember straining it? Coffee. Black. Strong. Out of a crazy Bob
mug. Coincidence?
Note: none of these plans worked out, by the way.

I can use this point of view more than anyone I know...
When you commit to doing something, you make a promise to
yourself. And when you break that promise out of laziness, discouragement, or
fear, you are only cheating yourself. You are not “getting away with
something.” You are only getting away from your own potential. When you commit
to making your dream come true, that is the promise you simply decide to never,
ever break. It doesn’t matter how many times you get discouraged, or exhausted,
or frustrated, you just remember that you have not given yourself the option to
quit. That is what commitment is — when the idea of ever stopping your efforts
simply doesn’t exist. You have infinite patience and resilience because there
is no other option. You have the ability to bear the pain and frustration
because you must find a way to beat it. It doesn’t mean it won’t feel hard to
press on — it might feel impossible, and yet you still find a way to keep
going. You simply always press on. At a certain point, all your effort and
energy and power is only directed towards your dream, and you no longer have to
waste any energy on trying to motivate yourself to keep going.
