Cold in July (2014)

Cold in July (2014)

In 1989, in the east of Texas, Ann Dane overhears a noise during the night and awakes her husband Richard Dane. He picks up his gun and stumbles with a burglar in the living room and accidentally shoots and kills the intruder. He is identified by the police as the wanted criminal Freddy Russell, but Richard is affected by the incident. Richard goes to the cemetery to see Freddy's burial and his father Ben Russell, who is also a criminal on parole, talks to Richard and asks for his son. Richard brings his son from the school and meets his wife at the police station, but the police inspector Ray Price cannot do anything to help him. Soon Richard finds that someone has broken in his house and the police officers stake out the place. However Ben breaks in the house but escapes. Ray calls Richard to tell him that Ben was arrested in Mexico and the case is closed. While leaving the station, he sees a picture of Freddy Russell and he realizes that he is not the burglar.

Me...I liked the movie...liked the dialog just wish there was more of it to replace all the brooding silences. Learned the Villan, Freddy, is Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawks son...and a good goalie...not big time, but good enough to play on the fringes.

Me again… This will move the reminded me of a story I had read in English class… Junior high or high school… And it was about a father protected his son against a mob who were going to hang boy for Ray the father for second her son… The father protected his son only to shoot the boy himself. I guess I should've said spoiler alert.

How's your, neighbor. It is the second day of bed rest and it is starting to wear thin. I spent the entire morning and part of the afternoon banking Tumblr pictures  for my blogs. Time consuming. When your laid  up in bed...that's a  good thing. When your trying to get other shit done ....not so good. In theory it is easy to pop out a blog every hour. Weekly isn't practical for my lifestyle. I am not about time make some proclamation that I will blog at a certain pace. I don't need something else to procrastinate.  Nope. If I am going to blog, regardless on whether or not the posts ever get read, it will be an act of personal convenience,  when ever the duck I want. I could start a list of all the things I need to do, should do, should if done, would of done...but that is just spanking the swollen ass. Shit didn't get done. Shit isn't going to get done. Know that. Better to decide what I really want to do and let that happen.

Time to shit, shower and a have, the triple Ss, to try and feel human again.

Don't judge me

Watched me one movie, going for two...the second 'bagman' with John cuzac and Robert dinero.  Ate my McDonald double cheeseburger and fries. In between coughing. Chugged 10ml odds dylsum cough medicine  and a hand full of pills, a gram of vitamin C.

Clean sheets to put my clean body in between...actually I like my own Blankets and a half dozen pillows on top of the covers. Yes, like the dog and his blanket.

If a food log helps you diet, then I Need to keep a life log to help me figure out what the hell I want and if I already have it. I might not need to be worrying so much. I might not need to worry at all.

Looking at my virtual library of books, videos, and music...mostly books....and I hit make snag...I came across an author...wikied him...Thomas Mann, a German author. Look At his bibliography, pick out a book that catches my eye....'BlackSwan'...send it to all my other electronic devices...it's about a lady who feels herself getting older (me, I am gearing older) who falls in love and dies of Cancer. The book was one if the first to mix fiction and medicine. Right up my alley, Right? And For my man at work I could suggest Thomas Mann's best work if you ask him, the history of Joseph…...thought I might share with My Man, a student of the Koran and the Bible....until I finished the wiki  article and found out TM was a pedophile. Deleted all his books. His name keeps coming up as influencing other authors...but what can a peep tell me? Knowing he is one would be on my mind while I read the book. Don't want that on my mind. Humans scare the shit out of me.

She must be going to the movies… She's picking your seat already

Reminds me of my brother-in-law and myself
